How My2Cents Works

My2Cents is a social media platform from Germany that combines public posts, wallet-based access, IOTA and Move smart contracts.

1. Connect a wallet

Users access My2Cents with a supported blockchain wallet. This creates a wallet-based identity model rather than a classic social media account based on email or phone number.

2. Write a post

Users write public posts in the My2Cents web application. Posts can become part of public blockchain-based discussions.

3. Sign with your wallet

Wallet signatures help prove that an action came from the wallet holder without requiring a traditional username and password system.

4. Use IOTA and Move smart contracts

My2Cents uses IOTA as its blockchain foundation and Move smart contracts for programmable application logic around social media actions.

5. Join public discussions

After publication, users can read posts, reply, react and participate in public discussions through the My2Cents interface.
